Farewell dinner

Last night we had a farewell dinner with our friends and faithful church members Joseph and Irene. Joseph works with a large MNC and he is now being transfered back to his home country after 3½ years here. We are much blessed that Joseph and Irene chose our church as their sanctuary in Miri. Both husband and wife were active in serving and they never hesitated to contribute whenever they could.

Their presentation of a Nigerian dance during our church's fun night last year was a most enjoyable one; because our Pastor and his wife couldn't resist going on stage to dance too!

Roseline enjoyed herself thoroughly that night too, dressed in a Nigerian national costume. (Photo credit goes to William C.L. Ting, Malaysia.)

We also attended the dinner organized by the Nigerians in Miri during their National Day last year. Our Pastor and his wife were there too.

We thank God for sending Joseph and Irene to us, and making them part of our lives. We wish them all the best in their endeavors.
