As far as I can remember it has been the tradition in my church to combine the Mother's and Father's Day into one celebration.

Belated happy parents' day from my house to your house.
it is a great idea to honor both parents n in a church environment
In my church here, every mother received a small gift. There was a performance which I thought was real awesome.. the kids sang a modified version of Celine Dion's song Because You Love Me. There was a dance and a choir as well. I felt so lost in church without my family members around. Hehha
How v sweet of your church to honour both parents! That must have been a great evening, and bet the kids stole the show!
