Sign and sing

I've noticed for the third week running during Sunday worship that my wife Roseline and another church sister Lucy have joined our hearing impaired couple Victor and Kristy in sign singing! When the lyrics were projected on screen, Joseph the son of Victor and Kristy would use a pointer on the lyrics while the four "singers" perform the song. What a beautiful way to sing to our Lord!

Among the several visitors this morning worshipping at our church were two prayer warriors Ruth and Shirley. They were passing through Miri and returning to Kuala Lumpur after their Ba Kelalan prayer trip. I was delighted to find out that Shirley's hometown is the same as my Mom's - Sitiawan, Perak.

Dear James,

Shalom!

Thank you very much for the warm hospitality extended to Ruth and I. I am very much at home with you dear saints at GMC, whatmore being able to communicate in our special and unique dialect - yes, Foo Chow!
Praise the Lord!

Our visitation to your church was God's plan or divine intervention. In fact, we should only be travelling out from Ba Kelalan early that Sunday morning. However, as there was a flight available on Sat morning, we decided to fly out then ; esp when we were told that the travelling time to Lawas is dependant on the weather and the road condition. After much consideration, we opted for the Sat's flight to avoid the risk of missing our connecting flights from both Lawas and Miri back to KL. So, here we are in Miri, comfortably hosted by Simon and Sally (two wonderful and marvellous saints of God) and their beloved son, Emmanuel. It was a very, very refreshing stay and I cherished every thought of it. Praise His Name!

I will send the testimony of my experience at Mt Murud (Prayer Mountain) last year via email. Hope to hear from you soon! Tks.

Once again, thank you very much to your dear Pastor and congregation. It's great to visit another family of God in Miri.

God bless all of you abundantly. Shine brightly for Jesus!

Blessings,
Shirley.
